Psychotherapy

Welcome, and thank you for visiting Rosebuds Psychotherapy. My name is Rosalind Wolfe-Dobson and I am a psychotherapist and counsellor based near Stratford-Upon-Avon, within easy reach of Wellesbourne, Warwick, Leamington Spa and The Cotswolds.

Counselling & Psychotherapy

I am a Qualified (Warwick University), Registered (BACP), insured and experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor. My company is called Rosebuds Psychotherapy.

I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment where you can bring any issues that you need to discuss.

Maybe you have come to a crossroads or maybe you have reached a point where something must change. Together we can explore your feelings and work towards change and new possibilities.

Please bear in mind that this won’t be easy but little that’s worthwhile is!

"The company is called Rosebuds Psychotherapy as I believe in your potential to grow and change in the best way possible for you and that the outcome will be beautiful.”

About Me

I am a Person-Centred Counsellor, this means that I believe in the humanistic view that each individual is unique and at heart knows what is best for them. I will work with you to get to this course of action rather than giving you instructions. Change works best and is more permanent when it comes from inside us and accords with our true nature.

I have a degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Warwick University and have worked with private clients, in an NHS setting, with the victims of sexual abuse and within a large company. In my previous career I was a lawyer working in the corporate world. This gives me good insight into the unique pressures this environment can bring, I have worked successfully with clients from this environment. I have also worked with clients who are suffering from the effects of being sent to Boarding School at a young age. Trauma comes in many forms and this always informs my work.

I have also had rewarding outcomes working with teenagers and young adults as they work out who they are and what they want from their lives.

These are just examples of some of the work I undertake.

I am a Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP). I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am committed to upholding the highest standards of competence and ethics. I undertake regular Continuing Professional Development and Supervision.

I welcome all clients over the age of 12. The most important thing is that once we have met we feel we could work together. Our relationship will be at the heart of what we do. I offer an initial session at a reduced rate of £30 in order for us both to assess this.

Speak in Confidence

Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement. In the therapy space thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.

A problem shared...

Trouble with a relationship; anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings or depression - many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of. Counselling gives us a set of tools we can use to help gain a better understanding of what’s causing these problems - and how you can move towards managing or resolving them.

Make better, healthier new choices

Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward.
